Decorating Your Tree
How Many Ornaments Should I Buy?
Sometimes you may not want to get our Starter Kits or pre-determined Premium Bundles, and wish to pick out your own ornaments so that you can dress your tree according to your festive style.
The quantity of ornaments you should buy depends on the height of your tree. Refer to our guide below.
Your Masons tree looks beautiful undecorated — but when dressed right, it becomes the showpiece of your home.

The Ultimate Guide to Decorating Your Christmas Tree
Step 1: Put on Your Lights
Each cable of light is 10 metres, having 100 bulbs.
Follow the recommended number of cables to purchase in the table above.
Start coiling your lights around your tree at 10-15 cm intervals of each line.
Should you prefer a more intense effect, you can coil them at more narrow intervals and connect more lights later.
Step 2: Adding More Lights
When you have finished coiling the first cable, simply connect one cable to another to extend your lights
Step 3: Hiding Your Lights
Your lights are already green wired to blend well with the tree.
Push them inward so that the branches of your tree cover the wires.
Want a more magical effect? Coil your tree entirely twice. With some cables shoved all the way in, and some just before the surface
Step 4: Adding Foundation Baubles (Palline)
Foundation baubles are often baubles of the same colour, sold in more quantity per packaging, and economical.
They provide a great foundation to the tree.
Fill your tree up in a distinct pattern to ensure it does not look awkward or funny later. We like to follow a triangular motion.
For those who prefer, you may even replace this part with larger flowers, or ribbons.
Step 4: Adding Tree Sprays and/or accent baubles
Tree Picks and Sprays are ornaments you shove into the tree. A tree spray is generally larger than a pick. Tree picks are mini sized.
Accent baubles are baubles usually sold in packaging of 4 or 6 to add some accents of life and design to your tree. They should not be over-used like your foundation baubles.
Fill up the big gaps with tree sprays, also following a distinct pattern.
Step 5: Add Tree Picks
Feel free to add more variety of tree picks.
Now, you can add the remanining empty spaces with tree picks.
Step 5: Put on Your Tree Topper
Most tree toppers are in the format of a star.
Place it just at the top of the tree but do not insert the tip of the tree into the hoop of the star.
Simply place your star at the top and bend the surrounding branches to hold it. It looks more natural this way.
If you wish, secure it with a cable tie against the top of the tree.
This prevents it from falling if someone were to accidentally knock into the tree, or if naughty children went to shake it.
Optional: Add a Tree Collar or Skirt
Complete the look!
We really think you should.
You're Done!
You now have a beautifully decorated tree, ready for pictures.
