When buying a Christmas tree, the most important element to consider is its width.

5 ft tree width: Approximately 82 cm – Suitable for those who wish for a small tree

6 ft tree width: Approximately 95 cm – Suitable for all studio apartments, HDB’s, and private apartments

7 ft tree width: Approximately 110 cm – This is less than the width of 2 pieces of 60×60 cm floor tiles. Therefore, this size is also suitable for any apartment.

8 ft tree wifth: Approximately 139 cm – Not suitable for HDB’s as most of such have 8 ft ceilings.

Tip: 6 ft trees are the most popular purchase. However, it would be great if the tree is taller than the tallest member of the household. Prop up the 6 ft on some books and cover the base with some presents, or, get the 7 ft version if you can accommodate to its width.
