Choose a Mason Christmas tree by comparing its shape, foliage and setup options with the space you have measured. This guide helps you shortlist current models, then check the details of your selected height before ordering.
1. Measure Your Space
Measure the floor area for the open branches and stand, leaving doors and walkways clear. Measure up to the lowest overhead obstruction, and allow for the part of your topper that extends above the tree. A slim shape can help in a narrow space, but the model name alone does not confirm that it fits.
If assembled or packed dimensions are missing, or disagree across the product description and size guide, contact Mason to confirm the selected height before ordering.
2. Choose a Height
If you are considering a 6 ft tree, start with the 6 ft Christmas tree collection. Compare the assembled height and width of each shortlisted model; trees with the same nominal height can occupy different amounts of floor space. Do not choose a size from your property type alone.
For a fuller buying checklist, including measuring, decorating and storage, see our Christmas tree buying guide.
3. Compare the Shape
- Slim: browse slim Christmas trees for a narrower profile. Check the width at your chosen height.
- Classic cone: compare standard wide Christmas trees if you prefer a fuller outline and have measured enough floor space.
- Extra wide: consider a model such as Astrid for a broader display, subject to its confirmed dimensions.
4. Compare the Foliage
Look at close-up photos as well as the full tree. Traditional trees and hyper-realistic trees offer different foliage finishes. PE refers to moulded needles; PVC foliage can also form part of a mixed construction. Check the materials for the specific model rather than assuming every tree in a collection has the same composition.
For a visual comparison of Abaco, Amazzonia and other realistic models, see our comparison of Mason’s realistic trees.
5. Decide Between Standard and Pre-Lit
A Standard tree lets you choose and arrange separate Christmas tree lights. A Pre-Lit tree has lights already attached. Check whether your preferred model and height offer that option, along with the included light colour and functions. Attached lights do not remove the need to assemble the tree and shape its branches.
6. Plan Setup and Storage
Hinged branches open from the centre pole where fitted, but still need shaping. Check the supplied instructions and the packed dimensions before choosing where to store the tree. Allow time for assembly, fluffing and decorating rather than relying on a universal setup time.
7. Compare the Complete Cost
Compare the price of the selected height and setup type, then include any separate lights, decorations, accessories and delivery. A From price or a range is a starting point, not the price of every configuration.
Starter Kits include a tree, separate lights and specified decorations; check the exact contents and options. Premium Bundles are decoration sets, with a tree optional and priced separately. Check the selected offer before comparing totals.
Mason Models to Shortlist
Use these as starting points for comparison. None is a guaranteed fit for every room, and available heights and setup options vary.

A traditional, full outline

Mirabella – Traditional Alpine: Mirabella has a classic cone shape and traditional foliage. Compare its available heights and confirm the width for your space.
